My name is Sarah Johnson, and I started BirdWatching Designs™ in March of 2008 with a desire to create beautiful and function nature-inspired things. It has grown a lot within the past couple of years, and now includes a bath and body line, accessory line, and more. I hope to keep expanding over the years; however, quality and customer service will always remain very important to me.
BirdWatching Designs™ is based in Mesa, Arizona. I have lived here for over 2 years, and have enjoyed the local arts and crafts scene. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University in December of 2006 with my B.F.A in Art, with a concentration in painting. I have strayed from painting since then, and have since been enjoying 3D arts such as sewing and crafting.
When I am not sewing or creating, I work for Old Navy as a Merchandising Specialist. I also enjoy photography, hockey, reading, and graphic design. I enjoy using my skills as a craftsperson and a merchandiser to create the best product and maintain the best websites I can for my customers.
Yes, I do bird watch! When the weather permits, of course. I enjoy going to local preserves and parks to photograph and feed the wild birds. I do have a sweet spot for hummingbirds!
My family and friends have been very supportive over the past few years, and I appreciate their feedback and encouragement more than they know. I have some pretty creative, smart people in my family, and they inspire me to create!
